2024 Summer Internships
Each summer CEF of Hawaii is blessed to add to our team to help us effectively lead our summer ministry programs.
If you are a young adult looking for an opportunity to serve, grow as a leader and reach children with the Gospel, please consider joining our team this summer. We are currently offering TWO options for internships. The first is our full summer internship with an 8-10 week commitment. The second is our Level Up training camp internship, which is an 18 day commitment at the begining of the summer.

2024 Summer Intern Information & Application
Time Frame: May 19 - August 4 (w/ some flexibility) Requirements: HS Graduate & Experience in Student Ministry
Support Needed: 10 Prayer Partners & $2,500 of support. Compensation: $375 per week & round trip airfare to Hawaii.*
Our summer internship program provides an opportunity for young adults to experience what it's like to serve Christ in a unique and exciting summer ministry program here in Hawaii. Our hope is to give young adults the chance to grow as a leader and determine if CEF of Hawaii might be a place God is calling them to serve longer term in the future. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in CEF ministry in Hawaii, followed by CEF ministry experience in other locations. However, prior CEF experience is not required. 2024 Level Up Intern Information & Application
Time Frame: May 27 - June 13 (w/ some flexibility) Requirements: HS Graduate & 2 years CYIA & 5DC Experience
Support Needed: 10 Prayer Partners Compensation: Roundtrip Airfare to Hawaii.*
Our Level Up internship program is an opportunity for young adults to use their prior CYIA experience to help us lead a succesful Level Up training camp here in Hawaii. Due to the size of our camp (usually 40-50 students) and our limited full time staff, we have to supplement our team with leaders from the mainland each summer. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in CEF ministry, especially those who have taught classes at other Christian Youth In Action or Level Up training camps.
